Duplicate Smasher — Privacy Policy

Duplicate Smasher ("the app," "we," "us") is published by Browning PC, LLC. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We keep it deliberately minimal.

Information we collect

• Your photo library. With your permission, the app reads the photos on your device so it can identify duplicates, screenshots, receipts and documents, and blurry or dark shots. This analysis happens entirely on your device using Apple’s built-in Vision framework. Your photos are never uploaded, copied off the device, or sent to us or to anyone else.
• App settings. Your preferences are stored locally on your device.

How we use information

• To show you which photos may be worth deleting, and to move the ones you choose into Recently Deleted or into review albums inside the Photos app.
• To remember your settings between launches.

The app has no account, makes no network requests, and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. We do not receive your photos or any other data from the app, so there is nothing for us to sell, share, or track.

Data retention and deletion

The app stores no copies of your photos. Its own settings stay on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Photos you delete through the app go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app, where iOS keeps them recoverable for 30 days before removing them permanently.

Children's privacy

Duplicate Smasher is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
